  • How does the payment work?

    The payment for transcription services depends on several factors, including the quality and complexity of the audio file. Poor audio quality, obscure industry terms, and multiple speakers in an audio file can impact the transcription process and rates. High-quality audio files with clear speech and minimal background noise generally result in lower costs.

  • How does audio quality and background noise impact transcription costs?

    Audio quality significantly affects transcription costs. Services may charge extra for difficult audio quality, such as heavy background noise, which can add around 25% to 50% to the standard transcription cost. Clear audio with minimal background noise is more cost-effective.

  • Can I get a volume-discount?

    For enterprises, we provide discounts on bulk orders. For more information please contact us.

  • Can I transfer my credits to another account?

    If you have forgotten your log-in details or if you cannot access your old account anymore, we can transfer the credits to your new account. We cannot however, transfer the credits to another person’s account. For more information, please contact us.

  • Do you make use of invoices?

    Yes, we do. If you are a client using the automatic transcription service, your invoices will appear on the Amberscript platform in your account. For enterprises, we provide the opportunity to pay through invoice, which we can send by by email. To request this, or if you have any questions or requirements concerning VAT or anything else, please contact our sales team.

  • How can I add credits to the app?

    You can buy credits via the app store for the prepaid plans and pay with your Apple or Android id. To do so, click on the person icon on the bottom right side of your dashboard and then “buy credit”. You will be asked for your AppStore credentials. To buy subscriptions or order manual services, you need to pay via desktop.

  • How can I receive my invoice?

    If you are a client using the automatic transcription service, your invoices will appear on the Amberscript platform in your account. For entreprises, we provide invoices by email. If you have any questions or requirements concerning VAT or anything else, please contact our sales team.
